Laurie Forestry is a leading Australasian forestry company that provides consultancy, management and marketing services to forest owners, farmers, sawmills and manufacturers.
Their privately owned operations throughout Canterbury, Otago and Westland in the South Island of New Zealand, and also four states in Australia (details) , are all run with the same high level of commitment that it provides to its many other clients projects.
As the largest regional operator of privately owned forests and woodlot harvests in New Zealand, Laurie Forestry is also able to draw on a wealth of experience and knowledge. The company delivers consistently high standards of service to a variety of client projects and this is backed with an indepth understanding of marketing logs nationally and internationally.
Registered in NZ in 1992 by founder and Managing Director Allan Laurie, the company has gone from strength to strength and can pride itself as being a leader in raising the standards of management and practice in the forestry industry. It has been a key player in building the export markets for the forestry industry.
Allan’s leadership style has defined the company’s ongoing successes. Competency and commitment in all services and operations are assured and complimented with a down-to-earth ethical and honest approach. Allan is currently the industry representative on the Operational Advisory Group of the NZ Forest Industry Safety Council.
Spending time with clients to understand want they want and need, and then to plan, manage and implement proven responsible forestry methods is vital. This has seen client after client achieving exceptional outcomes.
