Radiata Pine log sales continue to be strong to both the International and Domestic customer markets. Laurie Forestry Ltd has developed a significant reputation for being able to market a wide range of species for maximum return. This emphasises their ability to yield maximum results for growers with established high value tree species.
Domestic sales are on-going and remain a key component of Laurie Forestry’s
operations. Where possible, the business will provide product in volume to local sawmills as a priority. Many domestic sawmill operations have been customers of Laurie Forestry Ltd for over 20 years.

Export Operations
Exports sales are conducted on a direct to market basis. Managing Director Allan Laurie is in regular contact with our agents who facilitate sales across the Eastern Seaboard of China. A key partnership with China National Forests Group ensures sales are ongoing, the customers are supplied on time deliveries and shipping is arranged directly for Laurie Forestry Cargo out of Port Lyttelton and Picton in the South Island. TPT Forests Ltd are key NZ Partners for export sales from Prime Port Timaru in the South Island. In both cases, Laurie Forestry view this as adding value to our clients through the direct marketing of the end product, matching the forest owner with the end user.
